Basic Scaffolding
BASIC SCAFFOLDING COMPETENCY COURSE
This course is designed for any personnel involved in Heavy Industry and Construction and is especially relevant to personnel who are:
- Hands on personnel.
- Safety & Health practitioners who are responsible to coordinate plan and implement scaffolding work at work site.
- Plan to be a competent & DOSH’s registered scaffolder.
Intermediate Scaffolding
INTERMEDIATE SCAFFOLDING COMPETENCY COURSE
This course is designed for any personnel involved in Heavy Industry and Construction and is especially relevant to personnel who are:
- Scaffolding team leader.
- Safety & Health practitioners who are responsible to coordinate plan and implement scaffolding work at work site.
- Plan to be a competent & DOSH’s registered scaffolder level 2.
Advance Scaffolding
ADVANCE SCAFFOLDING COMPETENCY COURSE
This course is designed for any personnel involved in Heavy Industry and Construction and is especially relevant to personnel who are:
- Scaffolding team leader.
- Scaffolding Supervisor, Inspector, Superintendents & Managers.
- Plan to be a competent & DOSH’s registered scaffolder level 3
Inspection Scaffolding
INSPECTION SCAFFOLDING COURSE
This course is designed for any personnel involved in Heavy Industry and Construction and is especially relevant to personnel who are:
- Inspect the completed Scaffold systems and to ensure that it conforms to appropriate standards/ by law or company procedures.
- Ensure that the Scaffolding systems is appropriate for the job application as per the industrial code of conduct.
- Maintain scaffold inspection records and advice of non-conformities.
Authorized Entrant & Standby Person (AESP) for Confined Space
AUTHORIZED ENTRANT & STANDBY PERSON (AESP) FOR CONFINED SPACE COMPETENCY COURSE
At the end of the course, the participant will be able to:
- State legal requirement pertaining to confined space.
- Describe the presence of hazards at the confined space.
- Use the personal protective equipment and other related equipment associated with confined space occupation.
- State the duties/responsibilities and carry out the duties of Authorised Entrants and Standby-by Person.
- Qualify the workers as competent workers (Authorised Entrant & Stand-by Person) for confined space occupation.
Target:
Workers who are involved in confined spaces works.
Authorized Entrant & Standby Person (AESP) - REFRESHER
AUTHORIZED ENTRANT AND STANBY PERSON (AESP) - REFRESHER
At the end of the course, the participant will be able to:
- Understand the hazards of confined space.
- Understand the requirement of confined space entry.
- Understand the requirement of the law and code of practice on safe work in confined space activities.
- Understand the rules & responsibilities of Authorized Entrant and Standby Person when entering a confined space.
Target:
Workers who are involved in confined spaces works.
Site Safety Supervisor (SSS)
SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR (SSS) COMPETENCY COURSE
At the end of the course, the participant will be able to:
- Describe the OSH legislative requirements pertaining to construction site.
- Conduct the risk management at the workplace.
- Elaborate OSH requirements for site management.
- Be a competent Site Safety Supervisor (SSS).
Target:
Site Safety Supervisor, Site Foreman/Supervisor, Any interested parties.
Entry Requirements:
Malaysian Citizens & Possessed PMR.
Basic Rigging & Slinging (BRS)
BASIC RIGGING AND SLINGING (BRS) COURSE
At the end of the course, the participant will be able to:
- Understand the OSHA & FMA legislation for crane operation.
- Understanding the basic safety crane operation.
- Understanding on the basic lifting equipments.
- Able to perform hand signal and communication.
High Pressure Water Jet (HPWJ)
HIGH PRESSURE WATER JET (HPWJ) COURSE
At the end of the course, the participant will be able to:
- Identify the roles and responsibilities of the parties involved in high pressure water jet (HPWJ).
- Identify personal protective equipment (PPE) and required security features.
- Identify associated hazards with water jet activity high pressure (HPWJ).
- Carry out activities and operations of high pressure water jet (HPWJ) with safely.
Overhead Crane Operator
OVERHEAD CRANE OPERATOR COURSE
At the end of the course, the participant will be able to:
- The training presents minimum recommended safety requirements for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of overhead cranes.
- Successful completion of this training material should help to ensure that workers are suitably trained to safely operate overhead cranes.
